Silicon Sensing Systems(SSS) is a joint venture formed by Sumitomo Precision Products (SPP)
in Japan and Atlantic Inertial Systems.
The company has around 90 years experience
in the design and development of gyroscopes and over 15 years in the development and production of robust solid-state angular rate sensors,
the latest being the Silicon Vibrating Structure Gyroscope(Si-VSG). Leading the world in the new sensor technology SSS is the first company
to bring such a gyroscope to the market and has a multi-million MEMS production capacity.
Silicon Sensing Systems Japan, Ltd. covers the sales in Western USA/Canada, Pacific, and Asia. Located together
in the Sumitomo Complex is Silicon Sensing Products, Ltd., the production site for the entire Silicon Sensing Group.
